We are a civil society platform driving progress towards sustainable development. We come together to support each other in achieving the prosperous, healthy, secure and peaceful world we urgently need.
Policy & Advocacy
We support civil society groups from every region of the world to influence policy decisions on sustainable development and carry out advocacy at national, regional and global levels. Members are supported to analyse the work of power-holders and ask tough questions where they see challenges, risks and shortcomings.
The Policy and Advocacy Working Group works collaboratively at the United Nations by contributing at key regional and global forums.

Monitoring & Accountability
We invest in the capacity of civil society to monitor progress on sustainable development, with a particular focus on citizen-generated data, so that they are able to contribute to and provide oversight of government reporting on progress on the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement as well as other national commitments.
The Monitoring and Accountability working group has been supporting national goal monitoring efforts, as well as seeking to build citizen-generated data initiatives.
Public Mobilisation
We mobilize collective action to include at least 1 million active citizens every year and maintain the public spotlight on this shared agenda.
We work to familiarize the public with sustainable development and the commitments made by governments, with an aim to promote people-powered accountability and foster citizen mobilisation. We organise solidarity actions with individuals working for sustainable development and cooperate with others to build a people’s movement.
2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015 and the commitment from all governments towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) created a unique opportunity to transform the world by 2030.
Together 2030 joins the forces of civil society actors to push for the implementation and accountability of Agenda 2030 at all levels.
We believe that participatory processes have to be developed, experienced and monitored at sub-national, local and national level as well as at the regional and global level in all engagements related to the 2030 Agenda.
Together 2030 aims to create these processes by:
- Raising awareness, strengthen capacities and mobilize resources
- Convening multi-stakeholder platforms
- Creating Communities of Practice around technicalities of implementation
- Creating a knowledge platform
- Tracking and reporting on positions, priorities and concrete actions
- Facilitating, supporting and promoting global, regional and national advocacy actions
- Promoting a supportive global architecture for implementation and accountability of the 2030 Agenda.
ABOUT US
Club number 24912 of Rotary District 3060 was Chartered on August 26, 1987, and started with 27 members and has now grown to a family of 150+ members from various vocations in service to humanity. We follow the Rotary International principle of “Service above self”.
